How do you make sure the dogs get along?
At Run Dogs Surrey, we are proud to only accept sociable and friendly dogs with basic levels of training. Each dog is assessed before joining to help ensure they will get along and be happy in each other’s company.
Do I need to be home when you collect or return my dog?
No you don’t, most of our clients are happy to give us a key which is always kept securely without any reference to your address or you can give us access to a key safe.
Do I need to book the same days each week?
We prefer you to keep the same days each week, we can try and be flexible but each dog has to come out once a week minimum and all clinets pay a retainer if they can’t use their slot/slots for whatever reason.
Will my dog be cleaned before returning home muddy?
We can only towel dry your dog when we drop them back so you will need to leave a towel just inside our front door. We recommend we have a designated room with hard floor when dropping your dog back incase they’re wet or muddy to minimise any mess.
How do you transport the dogs?
All our dogs are chauffeured around luxuriously in our state of the art low emission dog van, with custom-fitted dog crates, air conditioning, cosy bedding and fresh water offered.
Can small dogs join the club?
Absolutely, you might be surprised at how much small dogs enjoy services including our 2 hour walks and daycare!. We welcome dogs of all sizes and breeds as long as they can keep up and are well behaved. All of our dogs are assessed on a meet and greet and trial walk before we can commit to giving them a more permanent slot.
Can my puppy join the club?
Yes puppies are welcome too, but only on our 1 hour pack walk until they are a bit older! We believe socialising puppies from an early age is crucial to their development. We have services suitable for all ages.
Yes, we do ask that each dog comes at least once a week unless they are ill or on you are away/on holiday.
All of our owners pay a retainer if they do not send their dog out with us. If your dog comes out once a week it’s 100% of the service cost you still pay, if your dog comes twice a week you pay 75% retainer for the services you miss each week and if you come three or more times a week you pay a 50% retainer for your weekly slots. Please note, you are paying for us to keep your dogs space so that it is reserved for them. If your dog is staying elsewhere during time you’re away and it’s in our catchment area, you can see if we walk them still.
If you want to leave Run Dogs permanently, we ask that you give us 4 weeks notice.
We have over 15 years experience of working with a range of animals. We strive to provide the best possible dog walking services with customised, dog friendly exercise routines.
